VISION FOR YOUTH MINISTRY

With the support of clergy, vestry and members of Christ Church, youth engage in an open, active and joyful fellowship with their peers. In a loving, worshipping community, youth discover and build relationships with God, follow Christ’s example and are empowered by the Holy Spirit for personal growth and ministry.

GOALS FOR YOUTH MINISTRY

1. To help youth get to know one another in a loving and caring peer community where the Lord is the center of all that we do; a place where we know that it is okay to give and receive prayer for each other’s needs.

2. To have fun.

3. To learn to accept one another.

4. To provide a consistent open setting in which youth can interact.

5. To have a regular meeting and special activity schedule.

6. For parents to meet with the Youth Leaders on a regular basis for prayer, activities, training, recruiting and support as we all continue to get to know the youth of the parish on a deeper level.
